This website (rvecf.com) is operated by RVE Corporate Finance Limited ("RVE", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11856492, with its registered office at 4th Floor Radius House, 51 Clarendon Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, England, WD17 1HP.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (each as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), RVE is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. The personal data we collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

Information you give us directly:

  • Enquiry / contact form, when you complete the contact form we collect your name, email address, preferred phone number and company name, together with any information you choose to include in your message.
  • Newsletter sign-up, if you subscribe to our mailing list we collect your name and email address.
  • Direct correspondence, if you email or call us, we keep a record of that correspondence and the contact details you provide.

Information we collect automatically:

  • Technical and usage data, when you visit the site, our hosting provider may automatically collect limited technical information such as     your IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, primarily for security, performance and to operate the website. We do not intentionally collect any special category data (such as health, racial or ethnic origin) through this website, and we ask that you do not send us such information via the contact form.

3. How we use your personal data, and our lawful bases

We use your personal data as follows:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide information about our services.

5. Who we share your personal data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as necessary:

  • Service providers (processors) acting on our behalf, including:
       
    • Webflow Inc., our website hosting and form-management provider;
      •  
    • Webflow Inc., used to manage correspondence and our mailing list;
    •  
  • Professional advisers (for example our lawyers or accountants) where reasonably necessary;
  • Regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where we are required to do so by law.
  • Tax authorities (including HM Revenue & Customs) and bodies such as Companies House, where relevant to the services we provide or where required to meet a legal obligation;
  • Prospective buyers or new owners, and their advisers, if we sell, transfer or merge all or part of our business; we will tell you if this happens and the new owners may use your personal data as set out in this policy.

All processors are required to keep your data secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Webflow, Inc.) are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a UK adequacy regulation, so that your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

7. How long we keep your personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes setout above:

  • Enquiry data, for 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for the duration of our engagement and as required by law and our professional obligations.
  • Newsletter data, until you unsubscribe.
  • Other records, as required to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure of your data in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to our processing in certain circumstances;
  • object at any time to our use of your personal data for direct marketing (this is an absolute right);
  • request portability of data you provided to us;
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent (for example, the newsletter). Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing we carried out beforehand.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@rvecf.com. We will respond within one month (occasionally longer if your request is complex or you have made a number of requests, in which case we will let you know). There is normally no charge, although we may charge a reasonable fee, or decline to act, if a request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. We may also ask you for information to confirm your identity before we act on your request.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to protect your information and have procedures to deal with any suspected breach.

This website and our services are aimed at business owners and professional advisers. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data relating to children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version isalways available on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above. Material changes will be made clear. Please also keep us informed if your personal data changes (for example,a new email address), so that the information we hold about you stays accurate and up to date.

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority:
